LaSalle is growing, and with that growth comes opportunity and responsibility. The decisions we make today will shape our community for years to come.
As your councillor, I'll approach every decision with three guiding principles:

Responsible Growth:
Growth should strengthen our community not outpace it.
As LaSalle continues to welcome new families and businesses, we need thoughtful planning that protects the character of our neighbourhoods while ensuring our infrastructure, services, and public spaces keep pace.
I support growth that is well-planned, financially responsible, and focused on maintaining the high quality of life that makes LaSalle such a great place to call home.
Fiscal Responsibility:
Residents deserve confidence that every tax dollar is spent wisely.
With the rising cost of living affecting everyone, it's more important than ever that Council carefully evaluates spending, looks for efficiencies, and plans for the future without placing unnecessary pressure on taxpayers.
I believe in responsible financial stewardship, long-term planning, and ensuring municipal reserve funds are managed strategically so they continue to support future community priorities.
Better Communication:
Good decisions begin with listening.
Residents should know what's happening at Town Hall, understand how decisions are made, and have meaningful opportunities to share their perspectives before major decisions are made.
I will work to strengthen communication between Council and residents by encouraging transparency, accessibility, and open dialogue.
Supporting Local Business:
Strong local businesses help build a strong community.
I want to see LaSalle continue to grow as a destination where residents and visitors can shop, dine, and spend time together. That means supporting local entrepreneurs, encouraging thoughtful commercial development, and making the most of opportunities like the waterfront, Front Road, and future tourism growth.
By investing in places that bring people together, we can strengthen our local economy while preserving the unique character of our town.
Safe Streets & Smart Infrastructure:
As LaSalle grows, our roads and infrastructure need to grow with it.
Residents consistently tell me they are concerned about speeding, neighbourhood safety, and increasing traffic. We need practical solutions that improve safety today while planning ahead for tomorrow.
I support proactive traffic planning, targeted traffic calming measures, and investments that keep our roads, intersections, and neighbourhoods safe for drivers, cyclists, pedestrians, and families.
Putting Residents First:
Every decision Council makes should begin with one question.
How does this improve life for the people who call LaSalle home?
My commitment is simple: listen carefully, communicate openly, make thoughtful decisions, and always put residents first.
